75 wanna run 35+
How high do I need to lift my 75 so as to run some 35's on it (min). Will I have to cut off any of the guard?
Any feedback appreciated
Thanks Ian

build a buggy Ian, claim it all on tax, you are probably the only person on this board who would get the use out of having one.

I run 34x11.5" Simex JT's (which i think are actually 35.1" true diam) on my troopy. It has stock spring but i suspect they've been reset a little higher than stock (2" MAX).
The tyres rubbed on the springs and the chassis rails, but no height increase can help that. They very rarely rub on the guards front or rear, though flex on my car isn't anything special.

I run 35 MTR's. You should be ok with a 2inch body and 2 inch suspension lift. 2 inch suspension lift was not enough, you will be ok in a straight line but won't be able to turn. Problem with the 75 is the lower guard where your mud flap connects. Other options are moving your front diff forward which will help.
I have 3 inch wheel spaces etc etc which makes it worse. I have got some new fibreglass lower guards made which not only enclose my extra width but also have a larger cutout where the mudflaps go. You can then go massive with tyres.

75 series ute. 8 inch lift, Drop shackles, Shock hoops, ladder bar, Ubolt flip, 3 inch wheel spacers, intercooled turbo, winch, twin detroits, 35" Mtr's, etc, etc.
i've seen your 75 looks mad with those exhoust stacks, 75's are just a bitch to run big tyres with, i've got 35's on mine and they rub on the spring the only thing from stoping them from rubbing to hard is the twin front shocks, so the steering arm hits the shock absorber befor it gets to full lock, a dopey solution, a 4i lift will get them under ok but u may need a body lift if u get the fron flexing big.
moving the front axel foward gives a few benifets as well, 1stly u get a better aproach angle and you can do a shackle reversal to give your front end far better flex, then throw some drop shackles on the rear and u've got a kikass set up.
speak to some pro's though before doing it.

i have a 75 and have run 35s with just a 2" lift just get the rim off set right and you will be fine, ive fitted efs drop shackles that give you and extra 50mm lift as well, but you will have too modifiy your front and rear shafts,to make them fit but after fitting these could bolt on a 37, i will be trying a 37 soon ill let you know how they fit up.
