I need some advice on mods for a 84 4runner. Bought it with an inch of lift in the springs and I now run 31x10.5 centipides off road. Been going off road for about a year now and want to get a bit more serious.
What are some good mods to start off with?
I was think a front locker. Maybe lokka lock right. Don't have the cash for Air lockers.
And also a body lift and maybe extended shackles.
Anyone got any suggestions? Or advice?

The best mods to do in my mind are
Front and rear locks. Is by far the best 4x4ing performance mod you can do.
Winch, means you can now go 4x4ing by yourself and not have to worry about not being able to get out if you do get stuck.
Bigger tyres, which means doing suspension and body lift to fit them.

k
well cheap mads that will be worth wild start with the body lift only go 2inches though anymore will be to much trouble dont get locka or lock right for the front go for the air locker save up a bit longer and then get that you want a locker you can turn on and off in the front something that is always locked will effect you steering when driving on loose surfaces
if you are going to install extended shackles you either need to get longer springs or move your shackle mounts foward the shackles need to be running at 45 degrees to work effectively hope this is some help for you if you want more info on the body lift i wrote up how i done mine in "solid front end"
