Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone out there owns a Lada Niva?

Ive picked up a 96 1.7 and would like to toss some ideas back and forth with fellow owners!
(yes im having problems and need help alright... ;) )

1993 Gq lwb with added xtra's :) sold
fj60,lifted,35s,33s for daily, 3f power!

Yeah sorry about delay, thanks for replies!

Mine a 96 1.7 (carby)

Main problems were brakes which I seemed to have fixed with a caliper rebuild kit :)

The other problem is a stuttering/hesitation at half throttle.
If stripped and cleaned the carb and it all looks OK.
Its idles fine, full throttle is OK too.
Any ideas?

hey

I had problem's with the stock carb and bolted a webber 32/36.
Cheap easy fix that gave more power and did'nt stall on steep climb's.

Hey i just bought one...Shes a bit of a pig but im thinkin thats the attraction...would like to know what you have done and are gonna do. Mine is a 1990 1.6.wouldnt mind some ideas.

I just bought an 89 Lada off ebay the other week. It's only driven on and off a trailer so far. The only mod I plan so far is a narrow pair of shoes :)
