hey guys
here is another 40 i need info on as i need to find out some details on this truck!

what i wanna know is:
what springs is he using in the rear to extend the wheelbase?
what size tires is he running?
what diffs?
where does he have the rear shackle mounted?
if some could help me out here it would be greatly apprieciated.

its got a 253 i think.
diffs didnt look heaps wide, 40s, maybe 60s.

Yeah, it rolled at Woodpecker as I was standing 2ft from it. All I know is that its from the ACT and it has a small chev in it as he was boasting that you cant kill the chev even when there was stuff all oil in it as it poored all over the engine bay.
Other than that it looked like it would drive very well.
GO the 80...The mods have started :-)

I don't know who's car it is or much about 40's but I'm going to take a stab and say he's extended the wheelbase front and rear by reversing his spring packs because of an offset centre in the spring pack?

would a rear spring flip extend the wheelbase that much??? would he be running 55 springs flipped?

60 series springs are a common swap as are 60 series diffs.
but my suggestion to you would be save up and go 80 diffs with coils.
