hi all i have 85 lwb sierra and the taco does not work every thing is conected but still nothing any ideas all help with thanks

Need a bit more info here... Have you just put a JX Dash into your sierra and are finding that the tacho isn't working?

if that is the case, then pop the bonnet and have a look around the coil - you need to hook up the input for the tacho - there should be two plugs within a few inches of each other that are not plugged in - connect them up and see if that fixes your tacho... If not, then there is probably some connections / wiring issues somewhere else along the line.
