Yeah it`ll all make a differance but not much for the dollars you`ll spend doing it.

yeah mate I agree with thte others. put a turbo on it and bigger exhaust. On standard boost should last a while. The more boost you run the quicker it will kill your motor.

Can't beat turbo's but if a little is enough then extactors are ok thats what i have and it'll leave my mates dead stock 2.8's but it's not by much turbo's they wouldn't see me for dust  if i had the cash i'd get one tommorow

They are supposed to be slow. Take your time, and enjoy the drive. If you got some cash to spend, rebuild it, or get a 5l motor ( 3 litre diesel ).

drag raced my mate i had 31's on and he was in his 99 model single cab 5l powered lux up a hill on the road still start and blew him away had good car lenght by change to 3rd gear and just kept on pulling away  so extractors can't be that bad

Hilux's in fact all 4by's are meant to be slow. Even the fast ones are slow if you sit it next to a Falcon or Dunnydore, and they're not fast cars. Just like Turbz said take your time, enjoy just driving and looking around over the top of everyone. And then get a XR8 ute for the doeys and fast stuff!
