I guess that phone call I made to Brian to congratulate him was a bit pointless then  Ah well such is life.

In that case congratulations to Jason and Desle for a great drive in a relatively standard hilux.

Oh, and Desle next year get someone to look after your kids.... they were shockers.. :D :D :D

How about for next year give the competitors a score sheet that they can get a marshall to to write down the score then sign for each event.

Id have to admit our scores are incorrect for both ACT club teams.

Were not to fussed though. Great comp.

Just a thort, would it be possible to stage next year on flat ground as being a fat unfit bastard I was absolutely shagged on Sunday after running, yes i said running up the outside of stage 3 as a "tape marshal", I think that I only managed 3 beers and was then in bed. Maybe something like bunnings carpark would be good, any thorts??? would anybody mind??

For next year have the door stickers on both sides of the car it just made it a bit hard to know what number team was competing if you where on the passager side of the track.
But was a great comp for your first time, and it will be alot easyer next year.

Yeh, we'll speak to the people at bunnings and see if we can use their carparkand set up some witches hats. If it rains maybe be we can hold it in one of the under cover carparks so the nissans dont get stuck on the hotmix.

DVD now available

Post by AustImages »

Hi all,

Just polished off the Toperi DVD and it's now up on the site.

I have to say it was one of the best events I've filmed (or seen for that matter). Great tracks, heaps of action, terrific weather and the night-time stage was really good.

A big well done to Tony and the Canobolas club. It is well worth the drive out to Orange to see the event, so make sure you get out there next year.

The DVD is now available to order from my site here and the photo gallery is still available here.

The DVD should also be available at the usual stores next week or so. I'll send them out to the stores as soon as they get their orders in.

Watch a preview clip here on YouTube, make sure you click the "Watch in high quality" link at the bottom right of the video window, otherwise the picture quality is pretty bad.

I've watched the 2nd disc(cause i'm on that 1) looks good. For my run not a whole lot of footage. We did complete all 4 stages. Probably could do with more footage on event 4 seen not everyone did it BUT still another great production by Australian Images :D

When are they going to do the Tuff Truck dvd :D

Is this years event confirmed yet or still waiting on a council descion
