timing

Post by Hobzee »

Not sure how long each half will take. Going to work out how long it takes the first 80% of the field then add 1hr so the time limit will be relative to how everyone goes. Yes we allow for late start times etc.

I have a hunch that we are talking an early morning finish (around dawn).

Yes Andrew .... we will be there teamed up with an awesome GQ that hasn't been seen out there in the race field since the '04 Vic winch. You just make sure you get your GPS working again!!! And i think it will be nice to have a little EFS competition ...... See you out there Ruffmiester! And if i roll it one more time ..... I will be quiting the sport as it will then be very obvious that i cant drive! Andrew.... we need new lights up top! see what you can sort out and i will do the same.
I will race again .... one day!

Popped the GU front end in last night with brand spanker EFS coils ;)
A few other mods have occured since the engel..

We'll be there with bells on, Not bothering with letting another vehicle hinder our progress though so we'll go it alone. If competance and confidence can't get us through then we'll rely on lady luck!
Looking forward to it, last reall try out before the OBC... ooowww i get butterflys just saying OBC now, it must be getting close.
Cheers Dan

OBC

Post by Hobzee »

not many sleeps to go before OBC

This is my 1st in 7 years I'm not going. I will be like an absolute bastard to be around that week... grumpy as hell I bet.

I just keep running out of annual leave. Cliffhanger takes up 2 weeks (setting up) and the OBC is best part of another 2 weeks and so come Christmas I dont get paid and grumpy wife at home also gets told no holidays like ski trips, etc... All bad

Was going to do it with Clint originally in his machine (GQ SWB with Infinity v8) but it looks and runs like brand new so the good news is that his rigs stays looking good one more year.

So.... Any disadvantage points wise to running the event as a sole car??? Same as you do in navruns
I reckon we would do better as a single car also, but then again never done a pursuit to compare
