:silly: I maybe missing the point,.................BUT if you have a car to pull start it with, why not just use jumper leads. ;)

i think he may have ment pull it by hand.
if he had another vehicle i think he would try clutch it that way

Rocky you've got a PM mate, I have a spare battery you can borrow and keep in the truck until you get it sorted :armsup:

I've tried the reverse vehicle up ramps (and these weren't small car ramps either rather heavy duty buggers) and believe me it doesn't work :D

depends on ya vehicle and technique.. it can def be done. takes a lot less effort to rollstart a diesel than many ppl believe...

and if ya compression is down, its even easier :D

i did it in 2nd or 3rd

why would ya push start a 60, they still got the crank handle starter in em, or at least the last one i seen did

ive tried crank starting on a petrol 55 series, hard work but on a 4 litre diesel forget it, strap around the tail shaft "tell im hes dreaming son"
