yeah i know
All is not lost, maybe, as my mate helping me doesn't seem THAT concerned, says it could just be the valves stuck open from then engine not being used for a long time. Hope this is the case

Must have just been the Valves stuck, cause she fired up real nice once I put the battery in, and primed the fuel line properly
I now know why they put the boost limiter for 1st gear in, it pulls like crazy in first
In the taller gears it doesn't really boost much till 2400rpm ish, then you can feel it.
Alternator doesn't seem to be charging well tho, but we only tested it with the Daihatsu dash multimeter connected to the battery. Will take it to a sparky tomorrow. Other than that, no more problems so far. Had to bodgy a few other things up slightly, like the accellerator cable bracket thingy, but that was easy.
Sounds quiet as now, using my 2" straight thru zorst. Used to have a nice but noisy wirring sound as it got up in the revs, now just a solid quiet noise. And I can't hear any turbo whistle with the muffler on
Sounded mad with just the headers
