1st post. Good way to start.
Going by your username, your into Jeeps. Don't blame Holley for what Jeep builds into their vehicles as standard. Carry a fire extinguisher.
Holley carbs are great if setup correctly.
I can forgive your ignorance since going by your grammar, you might be impaired.
Have a good day anyway. :D

I agree it was a bad first post... but there is a point there, Holley stuff is massively overrated and not exactly something you'd recommend to anyone.
This is not legal advice.

you're awesome

at the end of the day though, carbs are not the best for off road use full stop, doesn't mater what name is on the side of it.

with some careful though out changes and modifications, holleys and the flood prone webers can be made to work with the car standing on its tail gate or on it's front bar or laying on it side.

Carbies, no matter what are not great off road, but if people persist in using them as they don't want to spend the money on EFI then the Holley truch avanger is a reasonable product. The Quaddy is too hard to get parts for and has a very small fuel bowl. Carbies are old school, be greatful Holley still suppies parts where no one else does, and mostly don't blame the product is it was never set right.

Yeah sorry about that was a bit cranky. Truck avengers are ok but the quady,s are a good thing if set up correctly we had huge success with a quaddy on a 383 GQ wagon we ran in the hill climb at cruiser park.

any carb 'if set up correctly' will have huge success. you just need to what you're doing.
