I can only guess (as not being there) that as he has dug the holes and turned from side to side, Then the tyres have dug in and instead of pulling him out pushed the steering rack up.
If anyone has actually had a look under one and looked at the steering rack, You will see its really not that well designed on the left hand side mounting point.
It has two really good strong ones on rh side and a piss ant D bracket on lh side..
P.S $80 for new one with rubber and they have to order it in from overseas
as they have never sold one in Aus before.
