Many things you read in magazines are wrong. I have seen serious mistakes in technical info hundreds of times, and everyone I know who has had their truck shown in a 4x4 mag has been dissapointed (or just surprised) at the inaccuracy of the writeup.

The 15B-FT has 155hp@ 3200rpm std. which is approx 117kw. Now, to DOUBLE that output, you'd be looking at larger turbo (minimum hi-flow), boost compensation(tuned PROPERLY), and a shitfull of boost pressure!!

It also has 390nm std. Taking into the "230"kw figure, it should have around 600nm @ flywheel!!!!!

I'd go the Isuzu motors, and thats saying something, cos i am MASSIVE Toyota bias
