Very cool, that is a massive job u have started, hope it turn out well
How did u line up the 3rd member with the diff centre so the axles will be straight (both front to back and up and down), I imagine if it is the slightest bit out at the centre, it will be way out buy the time u reach the hubs. Have u got some special tools u are using, or jigs u have made up?

There is jigs, at this point though we stil have some play.
I have a 2m length of 45mm 4140 to use as an alignment bar to go the whole way though and have a modified 3rd member which also accepts this through where the bearings useually sit.

Well with having a heap of stuff on lately I am finaly able to get back to this project.
Here is some machining bling.
1st: This is the seal retainer to stop the diff oil reaching out to the wheel bearings
2nd: Top view of the full float spindle
3rd: Side view of spindle
4th: Side view of B260 spindle vs a Toyota full float spindle
5th: Top view of B260 vs a Toyota spindle. Shows the difference between a 30 and 40 spline axle well
Spindle still needs the keyway
