i used the sump and pickup off a HQ i think it came off a 253... which is of no consequence... they are the same as the 308.

it got to 100db during one rev when i actually took it up to 3,500rpm i'm allowed 90. It's averaged over 4 tests. But it was windy..... and the engineer said that it could have been a factor in the high reading as well. It's even a little louder now than it is in that video. The muffler takes a few weeks to settle properly.
100db -thats a nice volume. I find that really interesting as your v8 sounds lower then that for the same volume. It goes to show [to me] that the lower v8 rumble is nicer and softer to listen too than high revving smaller 4cyl engines [such as what i've got] when at the same db counts. Nice one mate i'd love to listen to it in person rather than on video. Shame i'm not your neighbour!

it passed engineering fine :armsup: Got the engine swap, suspension and body lift done. Can't get the tyres done until i get speedo correction for it.
