I send alot of people your way when they ask about pumps Swaffie, We may not agree on anything on the forums but ive never disputed the fact you know how to build pumps well.
I also mention Matt to customers that are chasing something between a 2860 and 3071 setup that I have not been able to cater for until the new X series came out.

Ontop of that I have provided pictures of basic intakes, just as the topic has asked for. To give people an idea on how it can be done and which way will work....

Like Matt has said, it doesnt take alot to get the design HEAPS better than standard. But for guys chasing reliable 280+hp manifold design becomes alot more important.

the standard one, coz youre a cheapskate and / or a troll :)
Cheap chinese turbos are usually copies of petrol turbos which are never quite right for a diesel application.
Plus would you use questionable quality metal in a compressor wheel doing 150,000rpm?
The stuff out of china is often a very good physical copy but the materials are usually pretty poor.
It doesn't happen often but they do fail and when a compressor disintegrates the metal goes through your engine.

Don't bother with a Chinese turbo when there are good alternatives for cheaper than you think. Look at the engine rebuild cost when your $300 turbo goes boom

What data do you want? Just AFR before and after a manifold change?

It is a simple request and Im always happy to put info up for anyone who asks."

And my reply was no actual etc etc.

Sorry guys I was pisseed the other night and may have come across a bit too strong.
I may have confussed someone about the TD42.

So northside or dieseltuner whoever you maybe I appoligise for having a bigmouth(keyboard), can I now see the figures you said you have?

If I go back to the first page of this thread you where saying that exadurated(spelling) some numbers to make what you said look correct or believeable or whatever you were trying to baffle us with?
All I was asking for was were did you get these from?
No CRD shit! No exhaust size! If you want we can get into that later.

Oops sill drunk.
Sorry Guys

Basically what I said were the figures were exaggerated so readers could see the temp spread between cylinders I was talking about. They were not ment to be taken literally as test data. If I had measured individual EGT's I would have posted up the graphs of it as I do with most of my test data.

Only a very cynical person would take what I have said as trying to baffle people. The results posted up by many people including myself show manifold upgrade's dramatically increase flow to the outer cylinders through overall EGT drops and AFR, they just dont show exactly how much per cylinder (which is what you want to know obviously)

As you have asked for actual figures on the matter, I am willing to sacrifice a manifold to do so on the next build to get this data for the community.

Not asking you to sacrifice anything.
What you should have posted earlier was " no I don't have actual figures".
Don't know that I am cynical, but I do take what you say with a grain of salt.

You should take the same approach with all the other guys claims that refuse to put up any kind of relevant data/testing.

Least Im willing to show the data I have collected, for the benefit of everybody that reads the forum.

If you dont like me having a formulated opinion based on scientific data, then make a complaint to the moderators and ask them to delete all the stuff I post up.
Otherwise, why dont YOU start to put some decent input into this thread rather than trying to rag on me every time I post up?

Hmmm.
I am not about to post up something I don't know is fact, simple.

The best advice I could offer was to go read the thread in the link provided.
I guess I could have posted a pic of my manifold and said its been tested at 260hp too but that would mean very little.
