side issue but are the guys in the pic in the 80 and looks like snowys 40 competing???? seems a bit unfair if they get to see, and drive them before the day??

and those tracks look hard.... but 1 word... MOGROVER!!
i have heard that on all 4s will run a team, but its really only a fun run for them, from what ive heard they can compete, but they are not eligible to win the trophy. im not entirely sure, im sure Christine can answer though

On All 4's will run a team as they did last year, it is a competative team running the same as everyone else. Yes we do get to see the track as we build it, but you can also see the track before you drive. But the team definately do not drive any of the course before the comp. We like to beat everyone fair and square.

The cars in the pics (there are 2 different 80s btw) aren't on the OnAll4s team, and Snowy's was being driven by Jmac. We don't have anyone drive the whole track, but bits of it are tested every now and then, as we build them to make sure they are driveable. Keep in mind the track changes so much over the day, no amount of practice would help anyone unless they were up first anyway. Those pics were taken over a period of about a month and aren't the finished product, I just wanted to tease the competitors a little :D
The OnAll4s team will be competitive and are now allowed to win prizes, as they did last year!

I doubt it, I heard Shanes not doing videos any more, this years video is being done by a different company and will be available in 6 - 8 weeks.

yes
You can book by calling Dargle Ski Park on 4579 1291 during business hours, camping is also available to spectators.

The camping is totally seperate from the event, the $10 entry into the event doesn't include camping.

For those guys travelling down from Brisbane be aware that the Putty Road has been closed due to Bush fires. So if your heading that way it may be worth contacting someone to find out if its still closed before you get there.

See you all Sat Night.

I don't think they stop Wisemans ferry, but they do limit the number of trips they do between 930am and 1pm, make sure you cross the ferry before 9am and there won't be a problem, I was down at Dargle yesterday and everything is almost ready to go, they are predicting temps in the high 20's so hopefully it will be ideal weather.
If you haven't been out to Woodpecker before come out for a look, you can see 90% of the track from the main viewing areas, so you can find a good spot and relax, you don't have to walk all over the country side carting an esky around.
There will be food and drink available all day, about the only thing you need to bring is a chair.

No rain, no heat, no humidity, was perfect weather for....

...Carnage! Rollovers galore, panel remodling, mechanical failure.

Apart from the grim side of the comp there were some top drives. I cant remember their names off the top of my head at the moment. And the bonus lines were pretty good value, "The Face" was definately a crowd favourite. Im not 100% sure but I think Red Bitch drove it totally unasisted, I could be wrong though.

Pics to come soon. ;)
