As someone else mentioned the 3.8's need alot of cooling set up properly - see guys in a variety of other trucks with bigger bays struggling to coll these engines.
We are struggling to find rads which can be fit into the limitations of the sierra front end much bigger than stock. so short of going custom (i.e big $$$) or rear mount i Would expect it to be hard to cool the v6 in a sierra.

look at fork lift radiators some of them are upto 12 core
