I'm sure you've had many many people say that you guys are mad during the buildup, and I'm 100% sure no compliment I could give ya's and no compliment that you'll receive in the future would make you feel as good as you do about actually finally getting it running. I cant wait to see this thing at shows!

I bet those dune climbers in the Middle East are pretty jealous. That thing would EAT them. And 2wd isn't an issue, because those front wheels won't touch the ground anyway.

Yeah got a few photo's of Elvis on the track, that thing sounds farkin awesome. The turbo wine as it comes on boost is so loud, it is hard to describe, I was up in the control tower and could hear it clear as day. Although I think it has some ongoing cooling issues as it only cut a couple of short laps.
But it will have no problems smoking tyres whenever it wants once it's sorted
Will post some photo's up once I go home from work early today.

Be interesting to see it on the drag strip against a 1500hp F250 diesel.

I'd rather see a 4 jet engined tractor.

Now that would be good to see.

There's heaps of imports in Brisbane /gold coast with the same amount of HP as this car, there's supposed to be a supra running around the gold coast with 1800HP and drags Yamaha R1's on the street and beats some of them.

Now that would be pretty hard as R1's can do 0-120kph in 3-4 seconds from the dealership, would also depend on rider as well. :)

I havn't seen this car but I read some stories about it on bike forums, one from a supposed friend of the owner.

Pull the turbo off them and see how much HP they produce.

This engine made 726hp at 6500 and 680lb of torque from 4000 to 7000. this is with 8.5:1 compression, a roller turbo profile cam and an old 1050 carb, a shitty set of pipes and stock inlet manifold.

This engine was built to run to 9000rpm and should handle 2500HP when its eventually called appon. Gup is still just playing with the HP this engine is capable of.

Your 1800HP supra would be lucky to make 400HP and 300lb of tourque without the turbo. And i have seen 600HP Skylines blitz many fast bikes on the Hwy with a rolling start.

beating bikes aint that hard when you have the right gear for the job. its power to weight that does it. that 1800 hp supra has been around for ages and it has alot less power than that. was dynoed years ago at 800HP at the rears then 800KW at the rears was when i stopped lookin at power figures as a measure of how fast a car was.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
