How to get the rear two body bolts out???

How to get the rear two body bolts out???
Hey guys
I know the body lift subject has been talked about a lot, but I am going to try and do mine on monday and I can't figure out how to get these bolts out!
From looking up at the bolts from underneath I can see a stud coming out of the body mount with a nut on it... Does this mean that the bolt head is welded onto the chassi above, or is it just a threaded stud???
Thanks
Dave.

I have looked through all of the FAQ topics and none of them specifically say how to get them out. Kent drilled holes to get his out, but murray said that he didn't.
I will try to take as many photos as I can, for a how to topic..

G'Day Dave,
The rear 2 mounts are threaded studs - the nuts are welded on top & inaccessable. If you just tighten 2 nuts together on the bottom of the stud & put your spanner on the upper one you will be able to remove the stud like a bolt.
Next problem is that the stud is a metric fine thread from memory - a little difficult to get bolts for - try an engineering supply shop & they should be able to get you some bolts in the same thread in the extra length you need.
Another method a mate used was to drill & tap out the welded nut in a slightly bigger but more common size - only risk is the welded nut breaking off - then you're stuffed
hope this helps - Mike H.

Thanks heaps mike. I suppose I can just use one of the nuts off one of the other body bolts. I think I will have to take the rear bumpers off to get a spenner to the top nut properly..

funny you mentioned that because I went there today and bought 4 fine metric thread 1.25mm thread pitch high tensile bolts for $6.40 each! And I got a longer joiner nut which i can use to extend the transfer shifter lever because it is the same thread pitch as the body bolts. I am going to cut the threaded studs which are the rear two body mounts and use that to screw the gear nob back onto!

Dave, If the Feroza (which I assume you have) is the same as the Rocky, which Im pretty sure they are, removing the rear bumper wont get you access to the rear nuts. They are welded in during manufacture, and totally inaccessable being between panels, unless you want to take to the rear door jamb area with a holesaw. The rear bolts are the same as the fronts, they go up from underneath. You should have no trouble getting them out. Whilst they can be difficult to aquire, as stated elsewhere, go for the original thread, in a longer bolt. You will have to go to a specialist engineering/bolt supplier.
