Coily seat rails - same as leafy?

Post by NiXoN »

Howdy!
Im chasing some replacement rails so a can fit my comfy sport seats and give my bodgy back a rest! What i would like to know is if the coily rails (see below for mounting positions) are the same as earlier ones (pretty sure early 1ltrs are different) or not? I am desperately seaking some extra rails to slice and dice, because i want to keep the originals for sale time....leafy ones might be a bit easier to find!
If anyone has some..please help!!!

Cheers

I've got a 91 wide track (leaf); and their different. The floor of the car is different to begin with (higher raised towers for fixing to), and then there is no step down on the rear bolt holes.

Your drivers looks a little like my passengers, though my passengers bolt straight to the flat floor. Passengers might be worth a bit more investigation.

Yep, they are different. Doesn't even really look like passenger side leaf ones would fit, but it might be worth a try. Have you unbolted the seat off of the rail to see what you could do with them? a mate ran an OMP fixed back race seat on stock rails, it fitted quite well.
