trying to find out if old man emu or tuff dog is the better option as both are close in price.

got the tough dog kit on my LWB vitara, great offroad and for load carrying. You'll notice its a lot firmer unladen though bout $1600 installed

I would suggest the Old Man Emu. At least you get some decent struts plus there are plenty of options with the spring rates.
