Oil Pressure sender

Post by Mugs »

Can anyone advise me on oil pressure senders?
I am replacing the sender for my guage ($100! from repco!)
Anyway, it looks like the original sender is next to one of the oil filters.(hope thats right) The repco part has two wires coming from it to a plug. My original part has these two wires plus another larger wire going to another small unit under the air filter housing.
Seems like I have the wrong part but there was only two listed, one for the oil presure light only and one for the guage.
Can anyone help?
cheeeers.........................again!

Thanks for the input, I returned the repco part today.
The repco part had two wires wheras my original part has three, one going to the unit under the Air cleaner.
Oh well, at least I saved myself $100!
