A while ago there was a seatbelt topic about seatbelts, i mentioned i had a NT body with the non-retractable belts which are freyed to shite, but i have some retractable belts in good nick from my spare WT body. Problem is, my NT body doesnt have the means to bolt the retractables in as there is no hatch or anything to mount them the same as the WT, i would have to cut into the bodywork.
Has anyone done this, is it legal? Is there still mounting points under the outer skin if i cut it off for retractables?

hmmm... we got a LWB NT that Sly wants to convert to the WT seatbelts...

but he still has the removable plate in the b-pillars, so replacing them with the WT plates as mounting is all on this plate.

should be a pic of the seatbelt recess in here;

i put wt retractables in mine and i just bolted up the bottom mount hole on the new seatbelts to the previous hole. i removed the backing plates to the wt belts also as i didnt need them and they just got in the way..

i am yet to install a lift for my driver side seat as it doesnt clear the retractor (?) thing. need about 5 mm lift
