33's help

Post by hetfield_86 »

Hey guys...Im looking at getting some bigger tyres for my short wheel patrol. Just wondering whether people would think that 33's would fit under a patrol with 2 inches of spring lift and 30mm spring spacers...so basically just over 3 inches of lift...

yeah dude... plenty of room for 33's. You could get 36's with some choppin and extended bumpstops.

I have 33's on my shorty, they are BFGoodrich all terrains but only 10.5wide. they are wearing fantastic even after 50 000k's they were on the car when it had no lift and saggy springs, so they clear just fine with my 2inch oldman emu's. The other bonus of these NARROW 33's is that they legally and safely go on the standard 7inch rims. They come in mud terrain aswell. From memory they are cheeper too than the regualar 33x12.5x15. hope this helps
