HJ47 - no electrical power in cab

Post by griff »

Just picked up a project HJ47 ute, put a new battery in, was starting and stopping on the key before xmas. Now no power in the cab (ign lights, nothing). Any ideas, only no auto-electrician handy here.

You should have a couple of fusible links right at the positive battery terminal.
They look just like a short piece of wire and will have a plug at either end. Check them first. make sure the connections at the plugs are all good. make sure you have refitted all the wires to the battery and they have good contact.
Good luck. Cheers, Dan
