06 RA Rodeo Centre Console

Post by amshaw »

Im fitting our uhf to the ute.........One thing though, I cant work out to sepurate the center console....I mean remove the gear lever bit from the hand brake bit, any ideas?

Ive removed the two screws all the way up the front on either side of the gear lever 1/2.....also the two in the rear box of the hand brake 1/2.

I dont want to break clips or whatever etc....

Im fitting the uhf to the space below the cd player..... do I even need to remove console, its just most other cars I needed to pull it out.......

For anybody in the distant future that may drop in here ....

The centre console comes out easy......the rear or hand brake part comes out first. Remove the screws in the storage box then pull up at the front. One guy told me to push forward then up, and now Ive got a broken clip........ :x

The front , just lift up from rear and it is hinged at the very front, so just need to lift a little to remove all the way.

The large bit around cd player, heater controls etc just pulls out. just need to work your way around it and be gentle......

if anybody reads this at some point can you let us know if there are any really active Rodeo sites out there?
