I have a 2.8 turbo diesel lux with 33's and 4"lift, is it necessory for me to buy a ladder bar or is it ok the way it is. Will it have any affect on how long the springs last or wheel travel?
Cheers

Basically YES. Any leaf suspension will have a degree of axle wrap. Softer springs will wrap more, but any spring will wrap to a point. 4 inch sounds uber still, so probably not much wrap, but probably fawk all flex. If you are chasing flex, lighten the pack, lessen the lift and fit a trac bar.
Layto....

The front has really good flex, the back is a little average still not bad but could be better.
How would you do it, if you take a leaf out it would sag so to maintain height what do you do (small lift blocks or bigger lift springs with a leaf removed?

Prob drop out the large main load leaf first and see how it goes for flex but with ladder bar if you've got one you can always run a lighter pack without worring about shagging a set of springs a mate done it to his before it got kitted out rear end with all good bits and it wasn't a plesent ride home on the bumpstops
So i'd say fit onemine has no wrap. Helps when pulling decent link lock skid aswell
