I'm gathering you mean petrol carby??
You can on gasresearch with LPG only no worries.
Speaking generally you can blow through a petrol carby but it needs to be well sealed around the throttle shafts especially or it will blow air and fuel out under the bonnet. You can enclose the entire carby in a sealed box as this maintains the same boost pressure on the inside and outside of carby meaning it wont leak. You can draw through the carby into a turbo provided the seals in the turbo are rated for hydrocarbons, however you cant run an intercooler and the intake track is very long as it goes through the turbo making throttle response slow and driveability poor, ok for drag cars probably crap on a 4wd.
Im keen to try one as a cheap alternative to efi or LPG if anyone is prepared to persist with some R and D.

to be honest im not sure of size make. all i know is its coming out of a VL and happly runs 18psi boost.
it comes to boost at about 3200rpm in the VL (RB30) so hoping it spoles up erlier on the tb42

It will come in sooner in your tb42 and should work well. Stock VL turbo dont have 360 degree thrusts so high boost will flog then out(blow off valves help and autos are easier on turbos than manuals, less on/off throttle), this can be fixed and is cheaper to do before the thrusts flog out and cream the core.

easyest blow through carb is a 450 cfm mighty deamon but they are around $1000 n couldnt say how it would handle angles
best of luck
Some carbs dont like blow through as the forced air will bypass the butterfly n keep reving lit it self destructs have seen it on supercharged engines dont know about turbo
