WATER IN FRONT OF CAR
WATER IN FRONT OF CAR
HI ALL I HAVE A 89 SWB MAV AND LATELY IT HAS LEAKED WATER IN THE FRONT LEFT HAND SIDE IN THE FRONT FOOT WELL ,DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS THANKS
Mine used to leak like this on the Drivers side. There are some small holes in the window rubber that block up. I never fixed mine but I think just pulling the rubber away from the glass slightly and use a pin to clear the hole. Should fix the problem.embryo wrote:maybe windscreen. to check get a 'partner' to run a hose over the windscreen while your in the car looking all around area.
hrmmm water restrictions? go to a car wash.

Mine was leaking throught the windoscreen on the driver side badly, dripping down over the fuse box..........
I didn't know about and drain hole so I just stuck black scilastic around the leak. It worked
Only did that two weeks ago, wish this thread was here then

[quote="chimpboy"]I might be reading that wrong, but it sounds like you are saying you want to come out of the closet and then rape my bottom or something..?

My GQ leaks when it rains onto the feet of myself and the passenger.
Apparently the GQ's crack on both corner panels (bottom of front pillars) under the cowel panel.
Also check all the plastic screws that hold the cowel panel on are there.
It leaks through the top of my windscreen seal too, right in front of my face

My GQ leaks in the passenger footwell in really heavy rain. I have narrowed it down to the snorkel braket that mounts onto the door pillar. As long as its not on my side and only occurs when its really heavy rain i'm not too worried about it as it just collects in the well of the mud mats on the floor.
