Fuel Filler Issue

Post by just cruizin' »

Not 4WD related but still tech.

When filling our AU Fairmount I can't have the bowser running at full flow I guess it has something to do with the angle the filler goes in at because some times it clickes out with in a second. Does matter which fuel station I go to happens every time.

Has anyone had similar issues with any of their vehicles and how do you fix it, annoys the crap out of me to take 5 minutes to fill the tank.

A lot of newer cars do the same thing. I usually find turning the nozzle around 90 deg works.

yeah I've tried not putting the filler in all the way and having it at various angles, still can't get it going full flow. It's the wifes car just every time I use seems I need to fill it. Just another excuse to get rid of it I suppose.
