Hi All
Just had an ARB Locker basically fall apart in the rear of my 80. Wasn't even being used off road at the time.
Not too happy. Big chunk of metal rod came out of the locker and damaged the crown wheel and pinion.
Big prob is can't really afford to replace with another locker immediately as have just purchased a house.
I am looking for a 4.1 ratio Diff for the rear. Is LSD the better option? Or all thats available?
Should I be looking at a cheaper locker rather than the ARB?
Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

This is common, it will be a 4 screw locker....if the front is aswell, pull it out after you do the rear and loctite the screws, drill holes in them and wire them all together....they come loose under stress....your old locker might....might still be ok....4 new screws and a new pin or two and a set of gears later...it will be able to be used again......i had this happen to one in my old 60. Pm sent re parts
