just after the difference between GQ and GU diffs, someone told me they were interchangable. can some one tell me a straight answer?

gu are wider and stronger

gu wider. stronger cv's and bigger knuckles.
yes they are interchangable but you will need steering arm and if you run a big (h260) gu diff a shorter rear tail shaft

there wont be any mods needed just some playing around with steering arms and stuff, if you have adjustable panhards then they should be cool

gq n gu panhards with the same chassis end are identicle, all gu til series 3 are same as gq but could have different steer damper mount, all the difference on gu diffs is frome the weld on axle tube to steer nuckle on front n wheel bearing flange on rear, exept different rear centre options
