60 diffs under hilux???

I know a few have done this mod... and yes I have searched but can't seem to find their threads... can someone point me in the right direction or tell me what's involved or what to look out for.

Personally I would go GQ diffs. They are plenty strong and have a centred pumpkin like the lux so you dont end up with any vibrations from the angled driveline. 60 series are drivers side offset.

Its also a fairly straightforward job to conver the lux to coils as you can use the OE arms from the GQ or you can retain leaves with some spring perches. I think Overkill Engineering has done this conversion to a few luxes with great results.

I am pretty sure that the hilux ones are offset to the drivers side too, same as the 60. I also have a set of 60 diffs I was going to sell, but am thinking of convincing my mate to put em under his hilux/4runner. ;) Get the idea Sim!!! ;)

This is why I wanted to go the 60 diff instead of the GQ ones... if we need stronger CV's later on, we can just get some longfields!!

my mate has some 60 diffs and he want's to swap them for lux diffs so if your keen let me know heres a photo of them
