yeah makes sense, i guess the bolt heads do hang down a bit, ive bent mine once, but havent really had dramas with getting hung up on it. im guessing it wouldnt be too hard to modify itturps wrote:The factory mount still hangs down to much. It doe sent provide the nicest thing to slide along. I know Birdy and Shreq both had new transfercsae mounts made. Then I think for the outback they put put on a flat belly plate. Atleast thats what they did a couple of yrs back.
Just being able to put a flat belly plate on would help depending on what your driving. I had dents in the cross member of my old shorty and got hung up on it a couple of times. Also had a rock jammed in front of it. Which made it work the winch to get over it.Madmac wrote:yeah makes sense, i guess the bolt heads do hang down a bit, ive bent mine once, but havent really had dramas with getting hung up on it. im guessing it wouldnt be too hard to modify itturps wrote:The factory mount still hangs down to much.
