Hi all,
Im in the middle of fitting a tubro to my GQ and need to know what the best type of steel (ie. Tin) would be to make a heat sheild to block some of the heat from the turbo housing to the rest of the engine bay, also is it worth putting some kind of insulation on the steel to assit?
Thanks for the help!
Cheers, Beretts.

Turbo Heat Sheild

Stainless, it doesn't rust and stays relatively shiny. Just bent/cut a basic shape to cover the exhaust/turbine housing. Make sure it's reasonably well supported (stainless tends to be a bit brittle if it can vibrate). If you can separete the ex manifold from the compressor all the better as well..
