Spent the day working on the truck today and all seemed to go smoothly...
Put a new Swivel Hub seal kit in, new bearings, new rotors, new pads, oil and filter change, drained/flushed cooling system blah blah blah.
There was one moment when I thought I had made an oopsie...Upon finishing the passengers side, I noticed there was a seal on the ground. An inner bearing seal as it turned out....$%@^ &^%&^&( )&^$@$%^...NOT HAPPY! But I was sure I put the new one in, because it took me ages to find something the right size to convince it back into place.
Then the penny dropped...When you buy a swivel hub seal kit, you get the inner bearing seal...and when you buy the wheel bearing kit, you get the inner bearing seal...phew! So now I have a few more spares to take up more room in the shed.
But all went well, and somewhat to plan...just have to bleed the brakes in the morning, then all is sweet!
