Is there any benefit to fitting an intercooler fan to a 4.2 TDI GU patrol? If so, would it be best fitted under the intercooler or on top. I'm tossing up whether it is worth the effort!

you wont fit one under the IC on a TD6, theres not enough room to make it worth while.
I have a 2.8 fan here off GU, way too thick.

I'm not bothering with it..
