Roof racks for GU

Post by Wilko76 »

Hey

Can anyone tell me the ball park figure you will pay for those ARB/TJM roof racks? Not sure what they are called but you can get them in either black or aluminium. they have a inclined front where a stone guard can be fitted. Vey common on the latter model 4x4's.

Thx

PS trying to con missus into letting me spend my tax cheque on it.....

There are a few other makes around that less for nearly $400 less but look very similar.

$870 for the rack & $295 for the mounting brackets I was quoted for an ARB one. I dont understand how some welded & bent steel can cost that much.

Im trying to convince my Mrs to buy one for me  Maybe I should have bought it for her for Mothers day.

I found the ARB ones WAY too heavy for what they are... Rhino ones are a much better option....

True very heavy and you'll notice a lot more body roll.
Very well made though.
