I have haynes and chilton's book
I see the map sensor - but I can't find on my vitara.
Accordng to the book it is on the firewall
I would appriciate if someone who knows will add a pic to help me.
I have a bad idle - everyone tell me to clean the map sensor

i may be wrong but i was under the impression that the efi vit motors were AFM airflow meter. which should be located along the air intake somewhere.

Should be a MAF after the Air Filter and no MAP.

Thank you for your responses
My problem is:
After an half of our of driving - stop the motor for few minutes
and than start again (The engine is still hot)
In that cases I have a bad idle - I need to backup this with the gas pedal
for few minutes.
I have cleaned the throtle body
I have replaced the fuel filter - to suzuki OEM
I suspect the fuel PUMP

Every one I am askink this question - tells me to clean the steo motor - MAP sensor.
Can you take a picture of your underhood????

Could be a blocked cold idle valve on the throttle body.
