Mq/Mk chassie?

Post by 45punkbus »

Hi just a quick question, are Mk and Mq chassies identical? I have a bull bar from an mk for sale on ebay, and I have listed it fitting Mq's as well, (as I was under the impression they would) Had a guy come around to look at it for his mq but says where it bolts (the chassie) looks to be a different width?

I have tried to search, but I am useless :D

I found this http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=344 pretty much saying that almost identical except a few finer touches, head lights some interior etc,

any helps good

Thanks

Dean

ps, here is the ebay link

exact same chassis

the bullbar mounts are the same from MQ to MK be it SWB , LWB, or the ute body.

differances are at the rear end of the chassis.... a towbar from a ute for example will only fit a ute and wont fit the swb chassis .... wont even come close !

cool, save me 2 seconds of work and another 10 mins on here.

intresting though. I got a tradesman tray supposedly off a gq ute and it looks like its a straight bolt in to my mq ute.

will find out in a few weeks once shes all painted and bling again.

Now ya getting tech.......

Gq's are a differant width at the front of the chassis to the MQ/MK, so a bullbar from a GQ WONT fit an MQ and vice versa

want more confusion ???? :? bloody nissan ;)
