Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the d22 Navara with the petrol 3l or 3.3l unleaded motor.
My sis is looking for a good dual cab vehicle to tow a horse float and I think the Navara is prolly one of the better around in her price range.
$18-25,000
I know the 3l diesel is a good donk but I think these seem harder to find especially in her price range
Will the petrol handle the towing duties??? Are they ok on fuel loaded and unloaded?
Cheers for any info or if you think there is a better vehicle available let me know and we will look into it

The 3.3-litre has more low-down torque than the 3.0-litre V6, but isn't the best thing around for towing. It's pretty heavy on juice. My Pathfinder has a 3.3 and it's averaging around 17.5L/100km. The best I can get out of it on the highway is around 13.0L/100km. With a load on board, or a trailer hitched to the back, it's going to be horrendous on fuel.
