Fix the Tubo or V6 it?
Guys, I have watched this site for a while and had a few of you point me in the right direction as I've learned about this passion, so my little Terrano has moved fom stock, to 2" body lift and 33's, air compressor, dual batteries etc... BUT the TD27T's turbo has just gone to heaven and it needs a rebuild or replacement looking around $1500-$2500 for it to be fixed depending on various factors, I have recently replaced the Deisel pump as well, given these problems I have been seaching for options, can do the above or Marks Adaptors have a kit to transfer a VN/VP V6 into the pathfinder supposing this kit also fits the series 1 Terrano whats the best option for reliability, cost (running) performance and more prominently resale etc etc ,just looking for some sound advice?

what diff ratios do you have - probably 4.6. my d21 with 4.8s & commo v6 used 20l per 100 every tank - no ifs, buts or maybes. it goes like a cat on a hot tin roof but boy does it like the juice.
if i were you i would keep the td27, it is a pretty good little motor. get another turbo & enjoy the fact that the td27 runs pretty cheap.
i used a marks adapters kit on my conversion and although i had no problem with the product i used, i found the people at marks a bunch of complete t_ss bags. i wasnt buying everything from them so they didnt want to know about me.
my d21 is now just a play car and the thought is bangin around in my head to ditch the commo v6 and go a td27, way more relaible, simple & diesel.. - however just gotta find a strong manual trans for it.....
