hey guys first time on so if this has been brought up before please let me know. has anyone done or replaced the idler arm bushes as mine need to be done . dont know if its an easy job or not . any info would be appreciated .
thanks in advance
sorry forgot to put the car down. its a rodeo 99. been told i can get the bushes for it so by the sounds of it i just need to do the bushes not the complete assembly.
I had to replace the whole Idler. I believe it isn't a serviceable part. Did the person you spoke to specificly know the rodeo? or just talking in general terms.
Genuine idler is approx $300 or more, aftermarket can be had for about $125
I replaced mine and it was stuff again in just over 12 months. But I guess that is expected running 31x10.5 mudders, winding the torsion bars up, and flipped ball joints.
thank mate .my friend works at holden and was given a price for both , but hey that doesn't mean much these days they probably just want your hard earned $$$$'s any way. thanks for letting me know what happened with yours mine isn't raised at the moment but looking at options for it
