GU 4.5 petrol Auto box...

Anyone know if it will fit a TD42?

How different are they to the others ??

I thought they where the same auto between TD42 and TB42,45. Just different bellhousing.
But have also heard the TB45 auto has the biggest of the patrol torque converters.

I am guessing good thing. Cos I have heard this is what Krimnal and Birdy have in there turbo petrols. I think this is correct. Just conversations I have over heard while around people with such things.

mmmm hard deciion. I would go for a late GU4.5petrol auto. Just to confirm maybe give Ontrack in kielor a ring. Or try extreme autos.

Actually has been discussed on here before.....

Go and see kewish auto's they did, Krim and kill bill's they know what there on about and would advise on the best auto to suit your application.

I've called 3 auto places, and some of the conversion prices they are quoting I could buy another car.

I was lookin at a 4.5 GU rollover wreck, its fucked, but would have the bits I need, plus could possibly sell diffs and some other bits IF they werent bent to off set costs.

well i think from memory the qoutes were abour 4-5k with the auto supplied however was rebuilt and torque convertors were changed...

I second weeman, call Kewish, speak to Dave or Paul, they've built a number of them with success. They did Henry(pro comp)'s that I turboed and EFI'd and it works great.

Was lookin at this for auto, and everythign I would need, T bar, console etc... , but its more than I have to spend at moment
