sierra seat mounts?

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

wondering is there a difference between the WT years or even between softtop and hardtop seat mounts for the passenger side?

as i got a set here from a WT softtop and drivers is all good but passenger is about 30mm short in length for the mount bolt for the floor mount.

Well I have no idea, but you can take a look at mine if it would clear anything up. 89 WT. I work at the maccas right near where ya live so no hassle popping around, although don't see how I'd be of much help.

Yes, there is a difference and no, I don't know why or when it changed. We came across this when swapping tubs on Greg's old car, but I don't recall what year the seat rails were from.

1.0s (and maybe some HT's with rear seats?) have a forward hinging seat base that is 30mm shorter than the sliding seat rails that ar more common.
