Yeah aparently tjm ones have less moving parts so less things to F up and yeah thats a good Q about tyres as reading the arb stuff and by that if you drive it in cases where a locker wouldn't be needed it will be covered but if used in a "Hard" place it won't be WTF but that being said mine can be spining one wheel on a hill and i'll just throw it in hasn't stuffed front of rear yet and it ain't always at low rev's
plenty of parts on the bench
I'm looking for lockers for my 80, and have been wondering the same thing. The most salient points I have been told so far are:
i) ARB have been making their locker for 40 years vs TJM for less than 5 years.
ii) TJM are $500 more expensive on a full F&R install compared to ARB (Prices from TJM and ARB respectively)

This is where people are poorly informed. The TJM locker has actually been around for a long time. Im not sure how long but its over 10 years. Possibly 20. It just wasnt called a Pro-Locker. It was called a Macnamara Locker and was not owned by TJM at that time.pridhac wrote:I'm looking for lockers for my 80, and have been wondering the same thing. And i dont think the ARB locker has been around for 40 years either. Maybe 20-30.
