What springs?

I want some new springs, 40-50mm lift for a classic range rover.

Front has a heavy steel bar and winch

Rear is standard weight aside from removal of interior

I will be running 11 travel inch shocks (with modified mounts), haultech bushes in the front, modified (cranked) rear lower arms and a modified a-arm ball joint.

I would like opinions on which springs would work best for off road use, ie: articulation and control. Not really worried about on road use as it will be a trailer queen

Opinions on spring retainers or articulation cones would be welcomed too.

Thanks in advance

Get some long LRA springs http://www.lrautomotive.com.au/54.html - and retain the rear springs so it's not so tippy

if you drive fast you'll need a heavier spring than if you take it easy - so think it through. it's easy to get rangies to articulate the rear but less easy to get a balanced rig

I'd also get longer shocks and reposition the rear shock mounts

you can do a lot more but you get into drivetrain mods so if you dont want to do that listen carefully and see how other peoples rangies handle.
