Hey anyone currently running theres in the rear on there tray ? Did you get any big cooling benefits from it ???

Did you need an extra waterpump ???

I have an injected 5L ina hilux

Any help would be great >>>>

This idea has been floating around speedwaycars for years, They fit them up where the backrest for the rear passengers seat used to be and run the water through exhaust tube,....they do it for several reasons ...IE: not likely to be damaged through impact, not likely to become covered with dirt from the track, larger water capacity-hence better cooling, better weight distribution,.... etc etc etc..

you wont need an additional water pump to circulate the water but a thermo fan setup is required, the fan setup will work more efficentaly if it is cowled.

Exactly the reasons i want 2 run it in the rear ....
I also want 2 put my winch furter back so this allows much more room
Nobody has any idea how legal this is ???

I know a hilux that runs one on the tray and it fixed all cooling probs.
Pretty simple set up and has a thermo on it. It may be benificial to run one of those electric inline pumps but I don't think it is necessary.
Worth it if you are having dramas for sure
