Has anyone been succesful modifying his free wheel hubs eliminating the auto position to make them fully manual ? The auto pon mine is engaging randomly since I installed an MQ LSD after tightening it.
I still can't figure out what this french guys say
hes just removing the springs auto lock ring, so when its in the auto position it wont do anything, if u remove what he shows ull be right. when u turn, ur LSD will be creating the same load on ur hub as the axle would when ur in 4wd, the hub doesnt know which way the force is comin from but it just wants to lock all the same, those hubs are bad for not liking load, if u have any more than 31's and an open diff they are bound to not like it, and if u do some hard work the auto will destroy itself anyway so u should always lock them when fourbying, the auto function is suitable for on road when u need better traction, rain, snow etc etc
